Untitled Work by Steve Strickland. Steve Strickland was born in Seattle, Washington in 1948. After serving in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, he studied graphics and design at Edmonds Community College in Washington. He is known for pioneering an innovative new style of serigraphs (silk-screen), combining the use of textures, paint, and photography.
