Joanne Thompson Print
Children at Play Framed Print by Joanne Thompson, (1923-2002). Joanne Thompson was asked to feature her art work in one of the Walter T. Foster drawing booklet in the 1960's. She loved to draw family members in charcoal and painted many portraits in oil. Did you know that Joanne Thompson originally painted this for a friend who gave Joanne a photo of her nephew and niece. The friend states that "the lithograph looks like them at that age." The little girl is barefooted and is wearing a necklace with what appears to be a ring. Her face is precious and she is holding a spoon. The aunt says that "Joanne was a beautiful lady inside and out. I remember her home was so elegant as she was, but down to earth as well." 18 1/2 x 22. $75
