09/30/11 - Let's face it. Our store is known as a fun place to shop and customers often travel here from great distances. Our website has recently generated calls from as far away as Japan and we've even shipped certain items to the Western U.S. and England. But our most important customers are those that invest their valuable time to visit our store. Our store isles may be cluttered and a bit disorganized at times, but we're working hard to improve our facilities as our business continues to grow. In the meantime, we'd like to say that you don't have to be a Detroit Red Wing Hockey Legend to visit our store and get terrific service and a great deal on anything you're looking for.
09/02/11 - Recently, we opened a new website gallery where we feature select items in less than typical condition, final clearance items, or ones requiring do-it-yourself attention. For example, a typical pre-owned executive desk similar to the one shown would normally sell for $695 here. Since this one requires a bit more care and attention, it was priced at $175. These are the kind of deals you'll find in our new Super Budget / DIY Gallery. And remember to check out our new Available Free Gallery where our loyal website shoppers have the opportunity to get select items for free. 06/18/11 - People that come into our Warren store often comment about the frantic nature of our business. When we say it's like 15 homes moving in and 15 homes moving out every day with all the stress and pressure associated with it, we aren't kidding. Customers buying, people selling, deliveries, pick-ups, hotel and office liquidations, employee issues, maintaining our truck fleet, new construction projects and the hundreds of phone calls per day we receive make working here quite challenging at times. But, in spite of that, Fred's Furniture is a really fun place to work. Fred frequently sets the tone by demonstrating a sense of cool and humor in the middle of the chaos. That spirit is why we all work hard to provide every customer with a fun shopping experience. That's just one of the reasons why we've been around for over 30 years.
